Getting Things Done

Planning

A mentor of mine recommended to me years ago, The Art of the Long View by Peter Schwartz.  It is all about scenario planning, imaging the future that you want to achieve so that you can plan effectively and avoid negative outcomes as much as possible. This was an influential book for me.  I use its lessons to develop long-term plans as well as to conduct myself on a day to day basis, even thinking about simple goals and determining how to achieve them.
