Happy marriage

One of the things you have to do as a husband is to want to know what your spouse is going through and how her days are going. I think my wife appreciates my asking questions and demonstrating interest in what is going on in her day. I have also learned that it is not about making a point. When I’m negotiating with Israelis and Palestinians, I have to ask sometimes, “Are you here to score points or solve problems?” It’s the same thing in marriage. Am I making things better for both of us by saying this? That is my mentality.
