Humility

I really admire people that have real power but don’t have the need to show it. I think it is a great attribute.  My dad told me, “People that really have influence are the ones that feel the least need to talk about it.”  I admire those that wear their power lightly.  It’s virtuous because those people are usually much better equipped to have others identify with them and follow them.

Tim Koogle
Tim has been an entrepreneur and business executive for over 35 years. He was the sixth employee of Yahoo! Inc. and its Chairman and CEO from 1995 to 2001. During his tenure, BusinessWeek twice named him to "The Top 25 Executives of the Year" list. Tim now spends his time serving as an investor and board member of early stage companies and philanthropic organizations. Another important project of Tim's is El Banco, a luxury community he has developed in Punta Mita, Mexico. He and his wife Pam live in northern California as well as San Miguel de Allende and Punta Mita, Mexico.
