Perspective

Humility and openness to others

Every human being on the planet has a story and what you lose by not opening yourself to all the people in your life, whether it’s Walter who works the elevator in our building with grace or the wealthiest people.  You are missing an opportunity to know a person with a different set of life experiences that could teach you something.  Grace is my favorite word.  It’s not just what you do but it’s how you do it.  Grace to me is goodness, respect for other people, humility, love.  I’m not saying that I am graceful; in fact I can be a bull in a china shop.   But my aspiration is to try and walk through life with grace.
